Point Village - District Centre

This mixed use development comprises three levels of basement car parking above which there is typically two levels of retail with apartments, a hotel, offices and a cineplex over. A retail anchor tenant will also occupy a double height space in the basement. The district centre is typically 7 to 8 storeys high over 3 levels of basement.   A 120m high watchtower building containing apartments will also be constructed on the axis of Mayor Street and East Wall Road. The triple level basement carpark is accessed from Sheriff Street and has 1000 carpark spaces. The delivery yard for the development occupies double height space in the basement. 

There is approximately 30,000m3 of retail space. The hotel has 220 bedrooms and the cineplex will have 6 screens. There will be circa 10,700m2 of office space.

A new Luas station will serve the development at the Point Square.

€400m (including Watchtower)

May 2006 (Enabling works - basement excavation)
