Bus Eireann Maintenance Garage, Galway
The Bus Maintenance Garage will cater for a fleet of 117 vehicles. The buildings consist of a 1885m² Maintenance Block with full Bus Maintenance Facilities and Vehicle Test Centre, a 225m² Service Bay including full facilities for cleaning and servicing of buildings and a 1330m² Traffic Administration Block.
Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services
The mechanical and electrical services consist of Mechanical Ventilation to Staff Areas, Maintenance Area and Service Bay. General space heating is provided by means Gas Fired Heating. In addition a number of offices are provided with Full Air Conditioning. A specialist fume extract system is provided in the Maintenance Area. The administration offices are provided with General Water and Sanitary Services. The maintenance and service bays are provided with high level utility ring mains consisting on Lubrication Oil, Fuel Oil, Compressed Air and Process Water.
The building is protected by a full Sprinkler System to LPC requirements and an external Fire Hydrant Main. Main Electrical Intake/Service, Main Switchboard & Electrical Room, Power Factor Correction, Sub Mains Distribution, Cable Containment, Standby Generator, UPS System, Earthing & Bonding, Internal & External Lighting, Emergency Lighting & Exit Signage, Office Work Station Power Services, General Services Socket Outlets Installation, ELV Socket Outlets Installation, BMS, Special Power Provisions, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm.
