Roadworks R761 to Mill Road Dual Carriageway Link
The project consisted of the construction of 2.2 km of urban dual carriageway, 1.6 km of urban single carriageway, large double culverts measuring 38 x 6 x 3 metres with associated headwalls, realignment of 300m of existing regional road, seven large diameter roundabouts (50-70 metre ICD).
Other elements of work included: Storm water drainage of complete roads network with attenuation utilising both oversized pipes and tanks, foul drainage for 1.5 million square feet of industrial & 2500 housing units, 120 km of telecom ducting, public lighting throughout, trunk & distributor water main and gas main, signalised pedestrian crossings, high quality landscaping.
