Titanic Tower, Titanic Quarter, Belfast
O’Connor Sutton Cronin were appointed as structural and civil engineers on the proposed 33 storey and 16 storey double tower development at the Titanic Quarter in Belfast.
This development comprises a two storey basement with a piled raft foundation. Piles are due to extend approximately 30m through the soft clay which is common in the Belfast city area. Tension anchors will extend to sandstone to provide resistance against uplift.
