Apartment Development at 33 Petergate, Wandsworth
This new apartment development is a five storey building consisting of 46 units.
Demolition of the existing structures is complete and the superstructure is being constructed. CFA piled foundations and RC ground beams support loadbearing masonry walls with RC vertical ties and precast floor slabs. As the site is located beside Network Rail’s railway line, negotiations have taken place to satisfy Network Rail that the construction of this new building would not adversely affect the railway line both during the construction phase.
The site lies within the River Thames’ 1 in 200 year flood risk zone and protection measures have been put into place to protect the building in the event of a flood.
