Industrial
Courtstown, Little Island, Cork
This project comprises of an Industrial building with a gross floor area of 7000m2 subdivided into 3 units. Each unit also contains a 3 storey office area.
The building is constructed from a 4 span structural steel frame with a height to eaves of 12m. The internal row of columns have every second column omitted to increase floor circulation. Due to the significant fall across the site a portion of the building is below ground level with entry into the office at 1st floor level.
Due to site constraints autotrack turning sequences for articulated trucks had to be analysised to ensure trucks could move freely.
