Adamstown is a new urban district on a Greenfield site adjoining the main Dublin – Kildare railway line between Newcastle and Lucan. The site was formally agricultural land and is approximately 500 acres in size.
Adamstown will provide up to 10,000 new homes along with associated infrastructure and facilities including schools, railway station, 3 recreation parks, a leisure centre, 3 local commercial centres and a district commercial centre. Castlethorn Construction is developing 60% of the site and associated facilities.
