Situated on the site of the former Inland Revenue Sorting Office, this 2.5 acre site is located in close proximity to the River Thames. O’Connor Sutton Cronin have been engaged by Parkway Properties Ltd to provide Civil and Structural Engineering services for the project which is currently at pre-planning stage.
The Mixed Use Development consists of four Residential Blocks containing 109 Apartments, an Office Block with a Gross Internal Area of 1330 m² and a Daycare Building with a Gross Internal Area of 5530 m². A landscaped podium deck connects the 6 storey buildings and a basement carpark encompasses the site.
According to Environmental Agency maps, the site lies within the indicative flood plain in an area which benefits from flood defences. OCSC have been in discussions with the EA where finished floor levels are now agreed and flood defence measures are not required to the Basement Carpark.
