Haematology Day Care Unit, St. George's Hospital, London
O’Connor Sutton Cronin were appointed as framework partners by the NHS Trust for the extension of St George’s Hospital in Tooting, London.
We were the consulting engineers involved in the successful construction of the Haematology Day Care Unit which involved the construction of an additional floor to an existing 4 storey building.
A thorough investigation on the existing building structure was completed and OCSC could justify the construction of this new extension without the requirement for strengthening works to the existing building’s sub-structure or super-structure. This project was completed on-time and within budget.
